Independent Living Support
If you need some help to remain independent, perhaps with housework, shopping or gardening, this service could be of real interest. The temptation is often to enter in to private arrangements with cleaners and gardeners but sometimes this does not work out.
It is unlikely you have the resources to thoroughly check someone's credentials and often you have to take the person at face value or rely on recommendations. This can result in unsatisfactory results and it's then difficult to resolve.
Our service is tailored to your preferences and needs, we will visit you and discuss the requirements and agree with you the tasks you would like performed. The coordinator will then match you to a suitable support worker. All our staff are carefully selected, screened and vetted and are available to support you at home.
We employ and manage them so you don't have to worry. If you are in anyway unhappy you can just pick up the phone and the service coordinator will deal with the issue.
We ensure all our staff carry identification, call at pre-arranged times and carry out the tasks we have agreed with you. We try to ensure you have a regular worker each visit but equally we endeavour to provide cover when necessary.
We can offer a minimum service of 1 hour per week for domestic tasks and a minimum of 2 hours per week for gardening; thereafter it is your choice how long and how often you would like the help.
We can also assist with other daily tasks like shopping, we can take you to the shops and assist you to do your shopping or if you prefer we can go for you.
