Introduction
Welcome to Tunbridge Wells and District Age Concern. We are a local independent charity serving the Borough of Tunbridge Wells, including the outlying more rural area and smaller towns and villages such as Paddock Wood and Cranbrook. The Charity is governed and managed by a group of Trustees who are all local people who are all especially interested or skilled in the welfare of older people and our services are delivered by a mix of paid staff and local volunteers.
Our aim is to ensure older people have the opportunity to enjoy their lives and have access to help and support if and when they need it. Age Concern firmly believes that ageing is a natural part of life, and the later years of our lives should continue to be fulfilling, productive and enjoyable. To help support older people to make the most of life we offer a range of services including practical support services to anyone over the age of 55 years resident within the Borough.
